By midday, we reach the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan border. After a short and smooth border crossing, we continue towards Bishkek, the lively capital of Kyrgyzstan. As we approach the city, the scenery changes from open plains to tree-lined streets, offering the perfect blend of urban energy and natural beauty. Upon arrival, we check into a comfortable hotel in the heart of Bishkek. Day 3: Bishkek - Lake Son-Kul

A beautiful morning in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan! After breakfast, we leave the city behind and set off on an exciting journey towards the Kyrgyz Range, passing through a series of picturesque villages where the transition between rural and urban life is almost seamless. Our adventure takes us to the legendary Too-Ashu Pass, often called a "stairway to the heavens." 🚙🏔️ Rising to 3,600 meters, this mountain road offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Tien Shan mountains. At the summit of the pass, we drive through a 4-kilometer tunnel, an engineering marvel cutting through the heart of the mountains. As we emerge on the other side, we begin our descent towards the Kokomeren River, a scenic valley with lush green pastures and rushing waters. The second half of the day is an exhilarating ride along winding mountain roads, leading us to the jewel of Kyrgyzstan – Lake Son-Kul. As we ascend towards the Tossor Pass (4,000m), the terrain becomes more dramatic, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks of the Tien Shan mountains.

If the weather permits, we will take the off-road route, descending the steep switchbacks of Tossor Pass, experiencing an exhilarating drive through untouched alpine wilderness.
